New Beginnings

It’s Official!! After trying to find my Groove as an MD for the past 25 years, I’ve Gone Back to school to become an Author!! On May 18, I risked the secure, reliable, biweekly paycheck position (where I was privileged to train our best and brightest radiologists @ ami gokli @jose morey @ avez rizvi ) , to begin a journey (as demanding as medical school)

With major contributions from my lifelong friend and colleague Dr. @Jennifer Tam, we are hard at work on our first book! Watch out for the presale - Our working title, The Wounded Healer: Evolution of Physician Burnout, is Coming out April 2022!!!!! We will present you a collection of our personal stories, research, stats we’ve collected and interviews of epidemic of Burnout plaguing caregivers NOW. With candid conversions about the What’s So in burnout, our goal is to elevate the conversation of @Physician Burnout. We Source and Stand for Wellness and there has never been a better time to talk about it with Physician female Suicide Rates at an all time High and Caregivers in every industry up in arms with the added unpredictability of our global health converse

Under the tutelage of Georgetown’s very own Professor @Eric Koester- I belong to a vibrant community of fellow authors and writers supporting me through this journey. I've already sent my editor my 1st content for feedback (which is exciting and makes this all very real!) Through the work of Georgetown University’s Creator Institute, the editing genius of @collen young, the author coaches @haley Newlin and the incredible support of my fellow authors @Pranathi @emma @timcheng @ Noble- You can expect this book to impact and usher in ways to end the epidemic of physician burnout.

Over the next few months, I'll be sharing key pieces of the journey with you - things I'm learning, conversations I'm having, milestones I’m realizing. I’ll be sharing snippets from the book and invite you to comment, ask questions, voice your converses and ask for any and all types of questions If you know of anyone with a story about Physician burnout willing to share ( names changed of course) , who can add to- move this- elevate and forward this conversation- We want to interview you for our book. Please send me or my partner @Jennifer Tam a message. Connecting and collaborating with people like you is what made all the difference to end my Burnout- I look forward to meeting you! Thanks for your support.
